Assalamu alaikum
Amanah Recovery is a mobile app — a clinically-led, spiritually-grounded recovery ecosystem built for Muslims seeking private support with pornography and sex addiction. We understand this as a struggle of the heart and the soul, not just habit. Recovery is approached through a psycho-spiritual lens, where faith is embedded within every stage of healing, supporting both inner transformation and behavioural change.
We are building a discreet digital sanctuary where you can turn back with dignity: structured learning, brotherhood and sisterhood in recovery, and in-the-moment tools in your pocket. Carefully designed to ensure that cost, exposure, and shame never stand between you and your spiritual and mental wellbeing.
In our ummah, too many carry this struggle alone — weighed down by stigma, silence, and the fear of being judged. Help should never depend on what you can afford, who you know, or whether you are willing to be vulnerable.
Accessible to all
Recovery support should not depend on where you live, whether you can travel to appointments, or if you know the right people. We are building the app so clinically-informed, faith-aware help is within reach for every Muslim who needs it — wherever you are in your recovery and your relationship with Allah.
No financial barriers
Private therapy is out of reach for many — and cost becomes another reason to stay silent. Amanah Recovery is a project of Amanah Family Centre, a not-for-profit Community Interest Company — we exist to remove the financial barriers to seeking help, so that healing is not a privilege reserved for the few.
Private and anonymous
Your identity stays yours. No real name is required — use a pseudonym, know your reflections are encrypted, and rely on an app designed so your struggle is never exposed to family, your local community, or on your lock screen and notifications.
A structured course weaving clinical insight with an Islamic understanding of recovery — video lessons, audio, and reflection worksheets at your own pace.
Brotherhood and sisterhood in recovery — gender-segregated circles, moderated peer support, and accountability that honours both your faith and your privacy.
Daily check-ins, streaks, and grounding tools for the moments when temptation is strong and willpower alone is not enough — practical support rooted in both clinical care and spiritual steadiness.
